One of the most coveted homes in New York’s Hudson Valley is Clove Brook Farm, the cheerful farmhouse of lighting-designer and ceramicist Christopher Spitzmiller. I’m sure many of you are familiar with it, having been featured in Architectural Digest back in 2016 and on numerous blogs, including Café Design. But the story of Clove Brook Farm is far from over. With every season, Spitzmiller delights us on his Instagram account with scenes of country life that capture the ever-changing beauty of his home and gardens. Designed by Spitzmiller in collaboration with Arkansas landscape designer P. Allen Smith and interior designer Harry Heissmann, Clove Brook Farm is the result of many years of dedication and hard work, and is continuously evolving into something greater with each new season. The gardens alone have come a long way. This year, there’s the addition of a pool and pool-house and the asian lilies are more stunning than ever… Here are some images that simply stopped me in my tracks, borrowed from Spitzmiller’s?Instagram account. Enjoy!
Have a great day!
