Tis the season! ’Tis the season of great new design books to add to your collection because this fall is packed with new releases that every design lover will enjoy and appreciate. It is impossible to choose one over the other, but there are a few shaping up to become my favorites and I’ll do my best to discuss them here.?Starting with Amanda Lindroth’s debut book- Island Hopping– which will be released on September 25th. It features fabulous projects in some of the world’s most exclusive settings ranging from Lyford Cay, Palm Beach, Harbour Island, Belize, Southampton and Maine.?

Amanda Lindroth is known for her fresh, layered take on island style. Her signature details like wicker and rattan, stripes and clear hues have made her the go-to designer for chic homes all over the Caribbean. But although the settings of her projects are different, their common narrative is celebrating life in the tropics. Her interiors are always happy, easy and playful, mixing with ease different periods and styles. After stints in Paris and London, the Florida native moved to Nassau two decades ago and the rest is history. Her work has been featured in major national and international publications and, for the first time, we get to see a collection of her most stunning 25 (yes, that’s right, 25!!!) projects, all under one cover.?When you add to that photography by the talented?Tria Giovan, and?illustrations by Aldous Bertram, the result is a book that is sure to become a classic for design lovers everywhere. It will also make you call your travel agent and book your next island escape!?Here is a sneak peek, courtesy of Vendome Press.?

All of these rooms made me smile–they are indeed happy! But the wicker fan/chandelier with the animals made me laugh out loud! Now I’ve got to get that book!
