Since its publication in Southern Living Magazine, the Nashville home of decorator Sarah Bartholomew has been a constant source of inspiration for legions of design lovers around the world, myself included. Her entryway is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. Part of a classic Georgian style home, it features delicate craftsmanship, walls ensconced in blue and white Pierre Frey’s Toile de Nantes, beautiful chinoiserie, wicker and rattan mixed with daring animal prints. It’s perfect!?
So naturally, one of America’s foremost home décor retailers, Pottery Barn, took notice and partnered with Bartholomew on her first ever product collaboration. The result is a chic collection of pieces inspired by her own entryway. Entryways are a home’s most hardworking spaces and they give your guests that very first impression of your home. With an impeccable taste and a great eye for detail, Bartholomew designed a collection that is both beautiful and functional. It’s very hard to pick any favorites since every piece is gorgeous. There is a console table inspired by her won, The St. Clair. There’s also a gorgeous bench with spindled legs and piped ticking-stripe cushion, The Oakes Bench, that would be the perfect addition to any entryway. To complement them, Bartholomew designed a suite of woven accessories, some of which you can spot in the image below. There’s an octagonal mirror perfectly sized, a chic umbrella stand, wicker trays of various shapes and sizes, hooks, shelves and message boards, and my absolute favorite piece, The Hughes pet bed! Here is a link to the entire collection, which launched this Wednesday.
It is a very exciting time for Sarah Bartholomew and her team as the firm recently moved into a new studio. The launch of her Pottery Barn entryway collection also coincides with the opening of her new showroom in Nashville – SB. SarahBartholomew –?at No.?3912 Hillsboro Circle.
Inspired by Bartholomew’s collection, I put together a shopping list with some of my favorite pieces from Pottery Barn right now. Please note that many of their items are currently on sale so if you see something you like, ?hurry!
